Logistics firm US 1 Industries said its third-quarter profit improved on higher load activity.
Net income rose to $827,000, or 6 cents a share, from $231,000, or 2 cents, a year ago, the company said in a statement.
Operating income jumped to $2 million, from $400,000 a year ago. Revenue rose 26.1% to $56.4 million.
US 1 provides financial resources, insurance and information technology to the trucking and logistics industries.
