Pacer International on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings that were three times higher than the same quarter a year ago.
Pacer earned $4.2 million, or 12 cents a share, up from $1.4 million, or 4 cents, a year ago. Revenue slipped to $386.3 million, from $401 million.
Income from operations rose to $7.5 million, up from $3.2 million a year ago, the transportation and third-party logistics firm said.
