Knight Transportation reported a third-quarter profit of $17.5 million, or 22 cents a share, from $14.2 million, or 22 cents, a year ago.
Revenue rose 19% to $224.1 million and revenue before fuel surcharges gained 14.6% to $181 million, the truckload carrier said in a statement.
For the full year, net income rose to $60.2 million, or 74 cents per share, from $59.1 million, or 70 cents. Revenue rose 18.5% to $866.2 million.
Knight Transportation is ranked No. 31 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
