Hub Group, a logistics and intermodal company, said its second-quarter income rose to a record $16.9 million, or 46 cents per share, from $14.4 million, or 39 cents a share, a year ago.
Revenue climbed to $778 million, from $751 million.
Intermodal revenue increased 9% to $432 million, led by a 9% volume increase.
Hub Group is ranked No. 40 on the Transport Topics Logistics 50 list of U.S. and Canadian logistics companies.
