Logistics software provider Descartes Systems Group said it has acquired U.K. transportation software company Exentra Transport Solutions Ltd. No terms were disclosed.

Exentra offers driver compliance products for the European Union, Descartes said in a Nov. 14 statement.

In the EU, every vehicle over 3.5 tons must have a tachograph, a device similar to an electronic onboard recorder, that records speed, distance and a driver’s activity.
